Here is your opportunity to own the Rides Again album from James Gang. This was the second studio album from James Gang. This album is a true classic and a must have for James Gang and Joe Walsh fans. Joe Walsh's unique song styling and unbelievable guitar work is unparalleled. If you have never heard this album, you owe it to yourself to hear it on vinyl. This LP is the very 1st U.S. pressing on ABC Records from 1970. It includes The Bomber with Ravel's Bolero on the back cover, inside of the gatefold, on the LP label, and it is also actually recorded on the LP. Only the very first pressings were done this way because a lawsuit was brought on by Ravel's Estate. This is a very rare and sought after pressing of this album. This particular LP has ABCS-711-A LW as the matrix number etched in the dead wax, on side one. Side two of the LP has ABCS-711-B LW Love From Jessica etched on the dead wax. Both sides of the dead wax also contain the Artisan Logo Stamper. The stamper is a drum with with two drumsticks sticking out like antennas. Artisan mastered some of the best albums of the early 1970's in L.A. The vinyl visually is in Excellent Condition. The LP has a couple of light hairline scratches and paper scuffs on each side. Side one has a couple more blemishes than side two. The blemishes have little to no affect on the playback. The sound quality on the playback is Excellent or Better. The vinyl is very thick and very brilliant. The LP labels are quite clean with some very faint spindle marks on each side. The LP gatefold cover is in Excellent condition. It has the faintest signs of ring wear on the back of the cover. The bottom seam and spine show some light wear. The spine is completely legible, but it has three small cracking spots. The spine also has three small crease lines that extend out about an inch to an inch and half from the front cover. I have taken pictures of the spine to illustrate this. The front and the back of the cover have some light age spots. The bottom right corner has a small crease. The inside of the gatefold is brilliant. This album has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and will be shipped in a brand new white inner sleeve. The album gatefold will come in a new 3 mil poly sleeve. The album will be professional shipped in an LP mailer with two 12 inch cardboard inserts. The LP will be positioned outside of the gatefold when shipped. This album is ready for playing or storage.
