Description
Up for bids is this old program probably from the 1960's titled: JAMES BROWN New! OFFICIAL PROGRAM. On bottom of cover it says: COMMUNICATE And Not Hate. Measures approx. 12" by 9". Inside has a biography of James Brown and lots of different photos of him. A lot of the photos show him performing. One shows him shaking hands with President Lyndon Johnson. There are letters of appreciation written to him from public figures. There is a picture of him accepting an award from Vice president Humphrey for making the recording 'Don't Be A Dropout', which was an inspiration for kids to stay in school. Lots more great pictures also. Cover has a name written in pencil and a slight split seam at lower spine. Pretty nice condition otherwise. Great piece of R&B music memorabilia.
