Description

This listing is for an original copy of the James Brown album "Aint It Funky" released in 1970 by King Records. It is a 12" record that plays at 33 1/3 rpms.  The record number is KS-1092. I am not a professional grader, so I will just describe what the record looks and sounds like rather than give it a grade.  I have listened to this record personally, and it does not skip at any time on my player. Different record players can play records differently and your results may vary.

Condition:

Record: The record sounds good! It never skips on my player. There is some light crackle at times, which is present in most LP's of the era. There is one time on side one during fat wood where, for about 30 seconds, I could hear a light background noise from a scratch, but it never skipped.  There are some light scratches and scuffs on the surface of both sides, and a lightly upraised dot in a groove between songs, but these do not affect play that I have noticed.

Cover: The cover is beat up.  There is a lot of wear on the front and back of the cover. The very top side where the front cover connects to the back cover is torn, almost across the entire way.  The very bottom side where the front cover connects to the back cover is also torn, and is held together with scotch tape.  There are some scratches in the front and back cover, some frayed spots on the top and bottom edges, and some creases in the spine as well.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
