Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Jackson Heights - The fifth avenue bus – Original Vinyl LP album 1972.

Original UK pressing.   Vertigo Swirl Label
Vertigo ?– 6360 067

  • Matrix / Runout (Run-out info side A [machine-stamped]): 6360067 1Y//1 11 2
  • Matrix / Runout (Run-out info side B [machine-stamped]): 6360067 2Y#1 11 4

Vinyl Condition: G (Visually the record looks pretty good with nice shine. There are however some small marks and scratches on both sides which cause some loud clicks and pops in places which may put off fussy listeners. It is still enjoyable though and a good collectable for the price. The start of each side has some continuous audible clicks and surface noice. There are a number of clicks and pops and some crackles in various other places in the record too but no sticks or jumps. Overall not one for the fussy collector but a good entry level for the price).

Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Vertio inner is complete but has an approx 6cm split to the right seam. The poly-liner is missing. Also has some water crinkles to the corners and stains).

Outer Sleeve Condition: Poor (Sleeve has visible damage. Looks like it got damp at some point. The bottom left corer has significant damage which affects both sides. The artwork has worn away from getting wet. Some damage inside the sleeve. Spine has some wear as do the corners. Please study the photos as they show the damage. Its a shame but still a rare record for the price).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
