Description
DESCRIPTION: This is an original UK pressing of 'The Fifth Avenue Bus' by Jackson Heights on the Vertigo swirl label. This is the first pressing with 1Y//1 2Y//1 matrix numbers.
The vinyl looks and plays great - no pops, tics, skips or background crackle. Super sound!
The gatefold cover looks near-mint at first sight, but upon closer inspection it appears that that bottom corners have been exposed to liquid or moisture. There is very light rippling at the bottom corners and some light staining; however, this staining is not really visible unless the cover is held at an angle under a light. However, there are no other signs of wear and the die-cut doors on the bus look as though they have never been opened.
Comes complete with the original poly-lined Vertigo inner sleeve, which has all seams intact. GRADING: Unless a record is sealed, I play-grade everything on a high-end turntable. My grading is strict, so even if you are buying a 'VG+' record from me, the chances are that you are actually buying a very nice keeper copy. Despite this, mistakes can happen; so, if you feel that I haven't graded something properly, please contact me immediately. As a collector of vinyl myself, I know how important customer satisfaction is and I will do everything I can to resolve any issues.

PACKAGING: I do not charge for packaging costs. All records are packed well in sturdy record mailers with additional cardboard for protection. To prevent any seam splits during transit, I always ensure that records are packed outside of their covers.
