Description
Up for Auction is an excellent copy of the LP- "Lonely Teardrops" by United States Blues/Soul/Funk singer, Jackie Wilson, a first UK pressing, circa 1959, on the Coral label in almost NEAR MINT condition as far as the actual record goes.
The record is graded VERY GOOD PLUS The Sleeve is graded VERY GOOD to VERY GOOD PLUS The Labels are graded NEAR MINT The audio on both sides is graded NEAR MINT The inner, paper record sleeve is graded NEAR MINT
The record has a couple of very fine, light, surface hairlines each side, only seen in artificial light when held on an angle that do not affect the quality of the play in any way. if you look at the record under normal lighting conditions the record appears NEAR MINT. The record has had very little play or handling.
The record labels on both sides are crisp. bright, clean and undamaged in NEAR MINT condition with no sign of spindle wear or damage. The inner, paper, printed record sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition
The album jacket has very slight ring-wear on the front, and the rear. The seams on the back have discoloured with age, there are some seam lines showing up with grime on the front and the laminate is bubbling along the top spine in very tiny spots here and there but only minor,.
There is a few slight creases, front, bottom right, coming in from the edge of the spine less than 5mm and there is a light grime line along the edge of the record entrance where the laminate has ended (Please see photos).

This album has sold several times for around $170 Aus. plus on Ebay in 2007-2012. They are becoming harder and harder to find and more and more sought after and valuable as each year passes. It is very rare to find them in this good a condition as the record is nearly sixty years old
