Jackie McLean One step beyond w.Moncur Blue Note NY mono Van Gelder ear Jackie McLean ' One step beyond ' BLUE NOTE BLP 4137 (USA) NY mono label - rec. in 1963 and issued in 1964 - on trail off (dead wax) has printed 'Van Gelder' and has the 'ear' - comes with the original Blue Note inner sleeve Jackie McLean : alto sax - Graxhan Moncur III : trombone - Bobby Hutcherson : vibes - Eddie Kahn : bass - Anthony Williams : drums Side 1 : Saturday and Sunday (McLean) - Frankestein (Moncur) Side 2 : Blue rondo (McLean) - Ghost town (Moncur) Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has light wear. Has only an evident unfeelable scuff on first track of side 2 and few other papers scuffs barely visible. Clean labels with just a trace of spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Very few light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG has light wear to edges and to spine. Bottom edge has been totally repaired with clear tape and shows yellowing stripe of tape's removal.
