Here we have a 1967 issue of a wonderful piece of post-bop by Jackie McLean
This pressing is from 1967 on 'Division of Liberty' labels, but features the (typically favoured) mono mix. Punchy, exciting sound
Record: VG+
The record has a shiny lustre and a few marks, which don't affect play. The LP plays through on both sides with no skips, jumps, or locked grooves. There is some background/surface noise during quieter sections but this doesn't overpower or interfere with the music. A solid playing copy and enjoyable listening experience.
Sleeve: VG
As the pictures show there is a small stain and some light ringwear to the back, but otherwise clean, with clear and striking text. The sam light ringwear is on the front cover which is otherwise presented in nice condition, with deep colours and strong lines. There is a promo/not for sale stamp embossed on the top left (pictured). Strong spine. Liverty inner sleeve in good condition with some tape repair to the left hand seam.
