Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Jackie McLean – A fickle Sonance – RARE Original MONO Blue Note Vinyl LP album.
Blue Note 4089.
MONO.
Original USA Pressing from the 1960’s.
Nice thick vinyl, BLUE NOTE BLP 4089, New York USA, 33 1/3 microgroove Long Playing on label, RVG stamp and Ear in the run off groove.
Vinyl Condition: EX (Some light marks and light lines but really is in great condition for its age. Record plays great with lovely sound quality).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Original Blue Note inner sleeve is included but has some rips and tears to the top and bottom. See photographs. I have placed the record in a new polylined inner to protect it).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Sleeve is really good for its age. The bottom of the spine has some heavy scuffing which has worn that patch to bare card. Bottom right corner towards the opening has a slight split. There are some marks underneath the pictures at the bottom on the back of the sleeve. Apart from this the sleeve really is in great shape, especially for its age. I doubt you would fine many originals like this in better shape).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
