The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Jackie Lomax-"Sour Milk Sea"/"The Eagle Laughs At You" 45, first Apple pressing 1802, released in 1968 (it was re-released in 1971 with a different B-side). This is a very scarce error pressing, with the B-side song listing George Harrison as the writer. The song was actually written by Jackie Lomax. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG+ condition on the A-side, with a light scratch; B-side is NM-. Record produced by George Harrison (Beatles trivia: "Sour Milk Sea" is the only non-Beatles track that has three Beatles on it: George, Paul & Ringo). It will come in a US Apple sleeve, in VG+ condition. Rare Apple error pressing; they had a lot but this is one of the lesser known.
