Vintage 1959 Jack Kerouac With Steve Allen
Poetry For The Beat Generation
Vintage Vinyl LP released 1959 originally on Dot label, Style- The Spoken Word, Genre - Jazz non-musical. Jack Kerouac with jazz pianist and TV personality Steve Allen present 14 poems. Several which were unpublished at the time. 150 promotional copies were released buy Dot before the president of Dot stopped distribution due to material that was considered inappropriate for children. Shortly there after Hanover records released this pressing. The album is in near mint condition. There is one visible scratch on side 2 through the first poem, the vinyl shows no other scratches. The Album cover its self is also in good condition showing only signs of age.
