“Debut studio album from Beat Generation pioneer Jack Kerouac”. 

 poetry for the beat generation was originally recorded in a single session in 1958 and was the first in a trio of albums from the iconoclastic novelist.

 kerouac was brought into the studio by tv personality, comic and musician steve allen after the duo had performed at the village vanguard.

 glossy vinyl with no marks, scuffs, or scratches.

 I played both sides of the record several times and there are no audible noises, skips or pops that impact the sound quality.

Minor /edge/corner wear, seam split 4” top of sleeve cover. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible. (See photos)
