Description
Available here is an original 12” vinyl record by Justine, the band’s self-titled and only album release. A UK 1st pressing, it was issued by Uni Records in 1970 with the catalogue number UNLS 111.
Rather rare and collectible, with prices often reaching three figures, the record bears the following marks in accordance with the Discogs catalogue -

Vinyl Condition - Very Good- - The record is bright and clean and although there are no worrying scratches a few light surface marks will be found. Having listened to the record, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking. Moderate background crackle is present at times, perhaps most noticeable at the start of the first side and during other quieter moments. There are a few light sequential clicks during the first track on the second side and again further on during the same side. I’ve given the record a decent clean but suspect that a little more work will improve the quality somewhat.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Poor+? - Difficulty one to grade. The gatefold cover is just about the right side of poor and on first appearance might look better than my description suggests. Expect to find various signs of wear and damage. Looks to have suffered a degree of dampness in the past causing light rippling at the outer edges. One bottom edge is split along most of its length, the corresponding top edge only slightly so. There’s an abrasion to the rear panel with other signs of edge rubbing. A previous owner has also taped the spine inside and out (presumably to reinforce), while the presence of a broad black felt tip pen in places, was probably designed to hide rubbing or smaller marks. However, it’s black on black so not too bad. Inner is plain white, die-cut, with light creasing along the top edge and discolouration, so probably original.

Where possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
