Artist: JUNIOR MANCE TRIO
Title: “JUNIOR”
Label: VERVE. Label is flat black with David Stone Martin “trumpet player” logo. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl, with deep groove. Catalog number is V-8319.
Year: 1959.
Personnel: Junior Mance – piano; Ray Brown – bass; Lex Humphries – drums.
Note: This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions. These are some excellent opportunities for the discriminating collector who insists on top condition.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, has been played a very small number of times, most likely once or twice, and handled with care. Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine.
JACKET: Jacket is EXCELLENT with nice bright artwork. Seams, spine, and surfaces are excellent except for very small split (less than one inch) at top center. No writing, stickers, or cutout indications. Overall a very fine jacket.
