JUNIOR BYLES - BEAT DOWN BABYLON

TROJAN LABEL 1972 ORIGINAL STEREO FIRST UK PRESSING WITH FRONT LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE, IN ALL ROUND EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT CONDITION.

Released in 1972 and from my late father's collection I am offering today this very rare reggae album by Junior byles titled 'Beat Down Babylon'. This is a 1972 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press rough textured orange & white Trojan label which was produced by LEE PERRY. THIS LP IS RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND IN NICE CONDITION. This LP amazingly is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition, one of the best copies you are likely to find.

The front laminated single cover is superb, with fully legible spine text . This has to be one of the nicest examples that you are likely to find. For anyone that has never heard this album, it is a reggae classic.

THIS IS THE 1972 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ROUGH TEXTURED TROJAN LABEL, AND 1ST PRESS FRONT LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE THIS LP IS VERY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THE CHANCE TO BUY THIS GREAT ALBUM.  A GREAT ALBUM FOR ANY SERIOUS REGGAE COLLECTOR.

 

Tracks on this album are DA DA - I'VE GOT A FEELING - DON'T KNOW WHY - DEMONSTRATION - COMING AGAIN - BEAT DOWN BABYLON - A PLACE CALLED AFRICA - JOSHUA'S DESIRE - A MATTER OF TIME - POOR CHUBBY.

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is in excellent condition, I have just played it through and it plays really well with just some light surface noise to be heard very occasionally which may go with a good clean. 

The SLEEVE, The front laminated single sleeve is near mint one of the cleanest examples you will find.  

The LABELS, The rough textured Trojan labels are very clean, free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The generic white inner is clean with no unwanted writing and no splits etc.

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc.
