JUNGLELAND - ISSUE #9 (UK, EDINBURGH - LATE 1980) - ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE SCOTTISH PUNK FANZINE PRODUCED BY MIKE SCOTT OF ANOTHER PRETTY FACE & THE WATERBOYS Original and very rare 9th issue of a superb fanzine from Edinburgh which started in the early punk days (early issues from 1977 are super scarce). JUNGLELAND - ISSUE #9 (UK, EDINBURGH - LATE 1980) - ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE SCOTTISH PUNK FANZINE PRODUCED BY MIKE SCOTT OF ANOTHER PRETTY FACE & THE WATERBOYS
Original and very rare 9th issue of a superb fanzine from Edinburgh which started in the early punk days (early issues from 1977 are super scarce) - very artistic with collages and pages in both black & white and coloured paper, includes original artwork, poetry, politics (anarcho-left-wing as was the spirit of the era) and also plenty of Another Pretty Face features as produced by Mike Scott himself. Part of the fanzine I think was a sub-fanzine titled 'Existential Thought - A Philosophy Of Action - A Work Written For The New Existential Order by Kevin Leyland 1980' (I had a copy of it individually with this page as cover) and which mainly included artwork inspired by artists such as the Clash 'Jail Guitar Doors Comic - Lyric Strummer/Jones - Layout and idea by Steve Rogers', Sea Of Holes by John Lennon, The River by Bruce Springsteen etc
