Description

This week I have two photos from the late '40s of music stars visiting local record stores for personal appearances.  What you'll love is the look of the shops, even if you're not crazy about the celebrity. Happy to combine.

June Christy sang with Stan Kenton's Orchestra. Her "cool" tone was a trademark of jazz in the 1950's.  Her version of "Something Cool" remains a classic.  In these two 8x10 photos, she is signing autographs in a local record shop.  No exact date.  Photos are in great shape.
