This record was featured in the December 2010 issue of "Record Collector: 200 RAREST RECORDS of ALL TIME." Originally released in 1968, it is now known as one of the most sought-after classics from the British '60s psychedelic scene.

JULY is known for its haunting psychedelia, saturated with trippy guitar solos, vocal harmonies, and atmospheric haze.

The band is made up of a group of very skilled musicians including singer Tom Newman and lead guitarist Peter Cook who never fails to deliver crazy and intricate far-out solos. One aspect that separates JULY from the rest of the UK psych pack is their use of instruments like tabla and sitar, which was only starting to come into play in rock music at that time.
