This is the INSANELY rare masterpiece 'Krautrock Sampler' By Julian Cope. Published in the mid nineties, this tome would go on to inspire a generation of young music lovers who, before the expansion of the internet into an everyday tool, needed such oracles as Julian Cope to guide them through their crate digging. I won't bore you with the background etc. as chances are you'll know what this is if you've gotten this far.
I have a confession to make: I've never actually read this book. I've read the contents within via the internet and have had many a conversation about Cope's top 50 with other nerds but I was too scared to actually open it and potentially disturb the paperback binding. I bought it second hand and thus it isn't Mint but aside from a few minor spots of rubbing on the corners it looks like it hasn't really been opened by the previous owner either! I'll endeavor to provide as thorough a description as I can of the condition of the item below. Thanks for looking!
CONDITION: I am not a book dealer, in fact I usually sell 2nd hand records, and thus I will describe the book as accurately as I can, as I would describe a second hand record! My intention is always to be as honest as possible. The front cover is in what I would term 'VERY GOOD' condition. The cover image and title information at the bottom are undisturbed by wear, all text is plainly legible, and the cover image is unspoiled. At the top left hand corner part of the front cover there is a tiny spot of wear which you can see in the image provided, and a similar spot is situated at the bottom left hand corner. This is were a spot of the glossy covering has come away. There are two faint creases on the top right and bottom left corners which is only visible at an angle. The spine is completely stiff and unbent, with only the small spot of wear mentioned previously touching the spine's border. The rear, as evidenced by the photographs, is in great shape with only couple of very light dints again only visible at an angle. There are NO creases along the spine to indicate that this volume has been particularly well-thumbed.
