Description
- Judas Priest released their sixth studio album "British Steel" in April 1980 on Columbia Records. With hit singles ""Breaking The Law" and "Living After Midnight," it is considered one of the greatest metal albums of all time.
- This copy of (JC 36443) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in near-mint condition. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Stewart Romain at Customatrix and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Pitman, N.J. The Side One dead wax is stamped AL 36443-1F and etched S1 A6.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 41 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
