TOLKIEN - Reads and Sings his THE HOBBIT and THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. 12" Vinyl Disc on Caedmon Records TC1477 UK Stereo Long Playing Microgroove Album 1975. ORIGINAL FIRST BLACK VINYL "MADE IN U.S.A" PRESSING (Matrix: TC-1477-A-2 / TC-1477-B-2) ON BLUE/WHITE CAEDMON LABEL WITH MATT "PRINTED IN U.S.A." SLEEVE AND ORIG PAPER INNER. Condition: EX+(light storage wear, very clean and white, small top middle seam split)/EX+(very light surface marks, no spindle wear, looks unplayed).

This recording is based on a tape recording Tolkien made in Malvern, Worcestershire during August 1952. Cool original Tolkien The Hobbit artwork!

Now out of print. A rare oppotunity to hear Tolkien read his own masterpiece works!!

This is the original US issue in hardly played condition!!!
