Warsaw ~ The Ideal Beginning ~ (before thier name change to Joy Division) ~
Comes with original Sleeve/s . 14''x14'' Warsaw on front when folded into the 7'' sleeve . Recorded on the 18 th July , 'Stevie Dale' name credit on drums , Bernards credit printed as Barney Rubble and WARSAW DEMO (not on either ENIGMA labels) On back . Totally different printing to sleeve front & back to the 4 TRACK 'JOY DIVISION' An Ideal for living' sleeve printed for the 78' 4 track 7 ''.
The label name exsisted already in the USA hence Their OWN label name was changed to ANONYMOUS .
This the x 3 track single has different tracks from the 1978 x 4 track Enigma 7'' Ideal for Living .
Matrix No's ~ A SIDE ~ PSS - 138 - A with FRANCIS also etched on same runout groove .
B SIDE ~ PSS - 138 - B 1 NO other etching on this side runout .
Label Credits ~ Tracks 1 / 2 / + / 3 to (Curtis / Hook ) C 1977 . ENIGMA .
Tracks ~ A1 ~ Inside the Line . B1 ~ GUTZ . B2 ~ At A Later Date .
Has been stored in a plastic sleeve for protection so still in great condition .Vinyl is excellent condition for 30 + years old . Has been played a few times with only faint/light marks on both sides but nothing feelable or that affects play , still has a nice lustre and sits perfectly flat on turntable .
Labels ~ Half a dozen or so spindle marks to B side but only a few to a side otherwise Labels in excellent condition with no writing / scuffs or wear .
The sleeve is also in excellent condition , all folds still as they where when folded as new before release with only a 1.5 cm pen mark at the front top centre apart from that it is nearly as clean/unmarked/crease free as the day folded and put into plastic sleeve . With original paper inner sleeve and plastic outer sleeve which are both still with the single , slightly disscoloured , but have done thier job of protecting 7'' and sleeve whilst in storage for 30 odd years .
