True UK first press one of the first 10,000 pressed at WEA pressing plant in London Matrices are hand etched STEP S-35 FACT-INSIDE A1 A PORKY PRIME CUT & THIS IS THE WAY A PORKY PRIME CUT FACT 10-OUTSIDE 1 B S-36. Denoting WEA pressing. It is widely regarded that the TRANCO opaque red pressings are true first press but this is not the case. Documented in his Book Peter Hook recalls collecting the run of first pressings from Hillingdon where WEA had their pressing factory. The vinyl is VG+ and playback is also VG+ some very feint surface noise on run in and quieter intros but overall nothing to detract. On my system I detected 4 light clicks on Disorder. Inner is VG+ with no seam splits and Outer is also VG+ with light shelf wear. I think pics give a good indication of Condition.
