UUp for auction I have a UK original TRANSLUCENT 1st week pressing of Joy Division's legendary debut album Unknown Pleasures released on Manchesters Factory Records.Catalogue number is FACT 10. The heavily textured sleeve is in an excellent shape which is a rarity in itself because,as you know it's flimsy nature is open to very bad ringwear but this one has been very tenderly looked after over the years with minimal damage. A couple of slight creases & a small amount of ring wear on the back cover a little worn on each corner but it looks good The spine is wonderfully square and the print is perfectly clear (see pic).Over all I shall grade the sleeve as Ex to EX+. The rounded inner sleeve shows little signs of wear indeed but does has have a few light finger print marks/age related discolouration and staining so graded EX-. The vinyl plays great almost perfect I did notice slight bit of surface noise for a 2nd but you do I expect when your testing it doubt any one would notice otherwise The record looks good I looked under 3 different lights & on one I could see some superficial marks one the length of two tracks but it doesn't effect play at all I would says looks VG+ PLAYS EXCELLANT . It is possibly your final upgrade of a UK Unknown Pleasures(the pressing everyone wants/needs to own). I am just doing what I always do,and be 100% honest with my description(I haven't earned 100% positive feedback for nothing ).The vinyl is absolutely flat as a pancake,no warping at all,as good as the day it was pressed in 1979.Copies with the textured outer and rounded inner sleeve coupled with the TRANSLUCENT vinyl are becoming increasingly scarce. Remember note that the vinyl DOES show up reddish/purple when held up to the light.The camera pics show a more purple colour but the true colour is a much more crimson effect.Looks amazing!These copies are becoming near impossible to locate. It does have the very early "This Is The Way" and "Step" etchings (taken from the track Atrocity Exhibition,a song that would appear on Joy Divisions Closer lp) on the run out indicating a very early 1979 Factory Records press.Any questions are welcomed.Thanks for looking I will be listing all the other joy division back catalogue closer ,love will tear us apart on 12 inch & 7 inch Still with the white ribbon round it atmosphere 12 inch Transmission 12 inch [i'm keeping the 7 inch on a different label cant think of it for now as it's the only joy division track I like ] peel sessions & earcom along with the flexi disc & the heart & soul 4 cd set all in excellent condition because I hardly ever played them unless someone asked when I djed but I discouraged such behaviour .You can wait for the auction but if someone offers me a decent price for the lot feel free or trade aven old 70's punk stuff ,seditionaries' ,worlds end posters adam & the ants were my favourite band from the 70's still still looking for stuff I missed back then .ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK I’M A BUYER ALSO SO HAVE THE SAMECONCERNS AS OTHER BUYERS I HAVE 100% FEEDBACK & WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT THATWAY I TREAT PEOPLE HOW I WANT TO BE TREATED SO ANY HELP I CAN GIVE I WILL ASISTWHERE I CAN
