Very rare 1983 New Zealand pressing

Thought to be a promotional or first press test copy for the then new NZ distributor, the sleeve with its printed inner is identical to the standard 1984 non-textured release but the label is unique.

There would have been a tiny number of these made and I am unaware of another copy previously having been offered for sale.  Almost certainly one of the rarest Joy Division records out there.

FACOZ 1003.  Released in NZ by Gap Records, manufactured by EMI NZ.

Sleeve: VG, some general wear to spine and seams.  The inner sleeve has some age spots.

Record: VG+ sparse light surface lines visible under a halogen lamp.

This is how I grade records.

Mint: I don't use this grade.

Near Mint (NM or M-): Like new, no visible faults whatsoever.

EX... Excellent, little to fault, close to near mint but not near mint.

VG+... It's still a nice record I'd be happy to own. Very minor marking, definitely no scratches. I will grade VG+ to EX if the record so warrants.

VG... A bit more surface marking, possibly a little  scratch or two or some scuffing, some loss in audio quality is probable but it may be minor.
