ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED ALBUMS IN THE WORLD. And to my knowledge the last GREAT ALBUM produced in England before the UK threw another fine industry to the dogs.
Martin Hannett got slated when this came out for cashing in on the Passing of Ian Curtis. I have never held with that.  The presentation is akin to the style of your parents old wedding album and a great tribute to a great band he brought to the world. LOOK AT IT !  THIS HAS CLASS !!! And what a fine collection of music for Joy Division followers and NOW a TRUE MANCHESTER ROCK ARTIFACT. There is a version of The Sound Of Music on here that is Joy Division FLYING. Also a SUPERB cover version of the hypnotic SISTER RAY by the Velvet Underground which is AURAL GOLD for the true fans.
The sleeve. MINT MINUS. The best I have ever seen and i`ve seen nothing that comes close. These sleeves were a dirt magnet. Unless they were stored and handled correctly. The ribbons tended to get creased or lost all together. This has been stored correctly since the day I bought it 43 years ago. And it shows. There can not be many out there in this OUTSTANDING condition. Double click the pictures and notice how the ribbon is perfectly square from one end of the spine to the other. BEAUTIFUL !!! The only flaw to this sleeve is a light brown stain at the front top of the sleeve about 3mm by 4 mm. That`s it. If that was not there this sleeve would be MINT .The inner sleeves with one rounded corner each are equally impressive. Spotless with zero damage to report. Double click the pictures and look at the inside panels, the writings on all 4 is like snow, stunning. I have never stored the vinyl inside the cardboard inner sleeves to protect the integrity of this BEAUTY and it has paid off ! The sleeve is graded as MINT MINUS.
The vinyl. The labels to all 4 sides are immaculately clean with no unwanted writing anywhere on this item. Label 1 has not a single spindle trail and on side side 2 I can only see 1. On side 3 and 4 each hold only a single spindle trail and no more. The vinyl does have the very lightest spider web hairlines that exist on every single album that was ever removed from its inner sleeve but nothing of any concern whatever to encroach on the listeners enjoyment. Listening to this great album is a fine experience. THIS LOOKS AND PLAYS LIKE IT WAS BOUGHT YESTERDAY. The vinyl is graded as EXCELLENT MINUS.
IN THIS CONDITION WITH NO RESERVE. The more serous Joy Division heads will be pilling in at the end for this baby. And who could blame them. DO NOT LOOSE THIS FOR A SINGLE BID !!! SELL YOURS and GRADE UP !!!!!
