Description
Up for auction is a copy of An Ideal For Living by Joy Division, released in 1978 on Anonymous, cat no ANON 1. A genuine first 12” pressing of the debut Joy Division EP, with correct inscriptions on run out groove (“don’t ever let it fade away”/ “I feel it closing in”). Incredibly rare.
Condition: a few marks on either side not affecting play, together with a little “fogging” in places, as if it has been kept in a poly-lined inner sleeve (it isn’t in one any more). A few spindle trails on the labels, otherwise problem-free. Cover is in great condition, just a bit of minor wear on the rear. VG/VG+.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
