     Way out there 9-track prog-rock recording featuring the Sound of Genesis, Victor Jay, and the astronauts. Album serves up pyschedelic-progressive music of the Sound of Genesis, narration by Victor Jay with soundbites from the astronauts on their journey to the moon. LP was released right after the moon landing in the summer of 1969. Recorded live on Earth, in space, & on the moon.

     LP is an absolute trip, literally! A narrator describes the first moon trip mixed with NASA (including the famous "One small step for man...") mixed into this instrumental music; its quality is that of "production library" music and is just plain groovy. It's extremely upbeat as the recording of the rocket launch plays, then as they get deeper into space it tries to sound, well, spacier ! Sound quality is very good. The album is complete with nifty liner notes and early '60s quotes from President John F. Kennedy: ''We choose to go to the moon in this decade ... because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills... ''
