Journey - Greatest Hits 2 (RTI)
Set of three 2011 test pressings of 180-gram reissue 2LP set issued by Columbia/Legacy. Discs come in generic, plain white covers. The first two discs in this set have a production date of "August 24 2011," while the third disc has a production date of "October 27 2011". The third disc has a blank 'B' side, as the 'A' side needed to be re-cut for some reason. Weirdly, the officially released version of the album did not include this re-cut 'A' side. Whether the two different 'A' sides included here are sonically different is unknown.
It's very hard to find a set of test pressings like this that show the different stages and quirks of the LP production process. A must-own for Journey and/or test pressing completists!
