Description

PRESSING FEATURES:
Journey's eighth album, released in July of 1981, generally considered the band's breakthrough album, launched them from moderate success to superstardom.
Upon retiring from the band, keyboardist and vocalist Gregg Rolie recommended The Baby's Jonathan Cain as his replacement. Cain developed a songwriting partnership with vocalist Steve Perry and guitarist Neal Schon that pushed the band in the direction of hook-heavy arena rock. The album was a massive hit on release, reaching #1 on the Billboard charts, and three Top 10 singles (Don't Stop Believin', Who's Crying Now, Open Arms) and two Top 20 singles (Stone In Love and Still They Ride).

Title also known as E5C4P3

Issued with embossed sleeve cover and b&w lyric inner sleeve with original factory creases..

Pristine Columbia custom Journey cover labels with no spindle marks or blemishes.

Record Grading:         (VG+/EX)
Record surface is bright and glossy with mostly faint / light wispy hairlines and “sleeve dust”, plays crisp and loud with minimal background or surface noise and occasional light crackle, more audible during quiet sections.

Sleeve Grading:         (VG+/EX)
Bright and glossy embossed sleeve cover appears almost new with no obvious signs of storage or shelf wear other than some minor corner wear and thumb creases; spine is excellent and completely legible.

USPS Media Mail $3.85  Vinyl will be placed in it’s own anti-static sheath, separate from its cover, with the cover in its own clear sheath, sandwiched between two cardboard spacers & well packed in a standard record mailer, USPS Media Mail

Records have been given a basic cleaning, but I would recommend a proper cleaning to get even better sound and performance!
