JOTHAN CALLINS & SOUNDS OF TOGETHERNESS Winds of Change ’75 Triumph Records VG+
Triumph Records catalog number 006, the one and only session (I believe) from trumpeter Jothan Callins and his group The Sounds of Togetherness, Winds of Change. He performed with many fine musicians after this set but this is the only LP with his name on the front cover. Plenty good names on the back cover, too: Joseph Bonner, Norman Connors, Cecil McBee, Roland Duval. Shrink still on the cover but is torn; cover is EX with barest general wear, no ringwear at all. Vinyl is VG+, a little noise here and there, overall a very nice copy of a really rare spiritual jazz LP. Cleaned on the VPI. Bid with confidence.
