TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for rare and great condition 1950's-60's LP's and 45's. This collectible Beatles LP (although it's listed as "Johnny And The Moondogs") is on a plain white, totally obscure label--although the jacket mentions a "Warwick" label and lists an actual ID number (see the pics below). There also are some hand written numbers in the dead wax areas of both sides. It is officially entitled "Silver Days", by Johnny And The Moondogs, and it comes packaged in an fairly attractive jacket with an early picture of the entire group on it's front side---and the song titles listed on the back. According to the dates given on the jacket, the songs were all recorded between 1963-65, and most (but not all) were recorded at live concerts in VERY good quality---the crowd noise is extremely minimal and the great music easily prevails---like the taping was right on stage. This rare album (at least, I have never seen it before) was apparently released by a litle known Warwick Label in, or around, 1965 (at least that's my best guess). The album contains 17 great early Beatles' songs including "I Saw Her Standing There"; "Please Mister Postman"; "Twist And Shout"; "She Loves You" and 13 others---a few of which I am not even familiar with at all, and have never heard before this. It's a really neat LP---espiecally in the great shape it is in. This overall package appears to me to be in really nice condition, espiecally for what it is----but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on a plain white, with no writing at all, Warwick Label, M16051, and in my opinion, is in super nice shape---I don't even see any spindle lines around the center hole. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is very shiny, clean and nice, with no serious flaws, but not quite perfect, either. There are just a couple EXTREMELY light surface/paper lines on each side, but these lines are purely superficial and have absolutely no effect on the LP's play at all--nor much of any on it's appearance either. JACKET INFO: This jacket is also primarily quite nice. The frontside (with the Beatles pic) is just fine, but the brown colored backside shows some very early and light signs of rignwear--- please check that out below. Also, a couple of the corners have very small scuff marks in them, perhaps from a little carelessness in handling along the way, but nothing serious, believe me. Please view all of the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: This Beatles' piece would make a nice addition to anyone's Beatles' collection---you just don't see this one out there at all. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so for the next several weeks---other LP's and 45's by The Beatles, Elvis, The Crewcuts, and many, many other 50-60's artists. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and almost all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
