LABEL: BLUE HORIZON S 7-63852
This is Johnny Young's only Blue Horizon issue called 'Fat Mandolin' on the UK Blue Horizon label. This is a first press original with matrix numbers ending in A-1 and B-1. The VINYL is EX++ and the cover is EX-. It plays MINT. The band includes Otis Spann on piano and was recorded in Arpil 1969 just before Spann's death and released nearly a year later.
This is a very early first pressing because it has the version of the cover which is laminated on the front. In early 1970 Blue Horizon stopped issuing laminated covers and replaced them with matt versions. This was a decision of CBS the company which manufactured and distributed Blue Horizon in the UK.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played and has some marks but little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents show some wear.
GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.
