Very clean pressing. Legendary ’77 punk classic from Glasgow. With six band members, Jim Kerr (vocals), Charlie Burchill (guitar), Brian McGee (drums), Tony Donald (bass), Alan McNeil (guitar) and John Milarky (guitar and vocals). The band became stars as SIMPLE MINDS two years later. eBay prices: £67 + £58 + £56 +£66 (UK). You are bidding on the only 7” release by JOHNNY & THE SELF ABUSERS from Scotland. The really raw and very powerful A-sider ‘Saints And Sinners’ will make you pogo like in the early days. An absolute beauty this one. Also the excellent flip ‘Dead Vandals’ rules. Original first UK pressing, released on private UK punk label ‘Chiswick’ records in 1977 (catalogue number NS 22). Alan McNeil and John Milarky quit the band, before the end of the year, and formed CUBAN HEELS. In near mint condition !!

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
