I’m back with another fine batch of records from a new collection. Lot’s of 60’s funky jazz, cool groove jazz, and some great bop too! I’ll be posting as much as I can daily as I sort through it, so please keep watching my auctions.

JOHNNY PATE – Outrageous – On MGM, SE-4701. Nice & Minty! This is an original issue. Johnny Pate is best know for his Blacksploition movies scores and soundtracks, like Shaft in Africa, but he’s also an excellent arranger and composer and always brings in the best musicians for his projects.

Here’s another rare find and in excellent condition too. Excellent groove jazz with a lot of funk too. This one is known for it’s breaks. The full track list is:

CONDITION: The cover is in great condition, nice and rigid with good color and nice gloss. There’s light surface wear on the front and a BB hole in the upper left. No splits, stains, or writing on it. I’ll grade the cover a VG+, but you be the judge.

The vinyl is heavy and very shiny and immaculate. It looks like it’s never been played. They just don’t come any more Near Mint that this.

Shipping is $4 in the U.S. and $1 more per LP when combining shipping with any of my other LP auctions. International bidders are welcome but shipping will be quoted after the auction ends. Typical overseas shipping is $14 to Europe, and $15 to Asia, for air mail and about half that for surface mail.

PAYMENT – I prefer Money Orders, but will also take PayPal. Cash is good too. Payment must be received within 7 days after the close of auction. If you’re unable to pay on time, “Don’t Bid”.
