Description

An original dj copy of Bashie 45-101 by Chicago soul singer JOHNNY HOWARD, arranged by Tom-Tom Washington and produced by the great Willie Henderson - "The Chase Is On" b/w "I Miss My Lady". Bashie was a subsidiary of Dakar Records, a Chicago label distributed by Atlantic in the late 1960's. Another highly collectible item in Northern soul/deep funk circles, this is a ferocious, danceable soul-funk cut from the late 60's. This disc has been played but has been very well cared for. Plays GREAT - despite a few minor, pretty much inaudible, scuffs and scratches. Labels have slight storage (ring) wear and small stickers (has been peeled off one side). VG to VG+. This is an extremely hard record and very desireable to those in the know.
