Description

Today we have one of the most sought after Blue Note LPs.  It is Johnny Griffin's "A Blowing Session Vol. 2".  This record features an all-star lineup of jazz greats: John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Art Blakey, Wynton Kelly, and Paul Chambers.  Doesn't get any better than that.

This is a mono copy.  On the label is the 47 West 63rd New York 23 address.  Also says "33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing".  In the dead wax are the initials RVG.  Also has the "ear" etching and BN-LP-1559.

The vinyl has a real nice shine to it.  Free of major marks.  The labels are equally nice.  Free of spindle marks.  Super clean.  The record comes in Blue Note sleeve.

The cover has a bit of corner wear and a half inch seam split in the upper right corner.  The right edge has a bit of cellophane wear as well.  The back cover has a bit of ringwear.  The bottom of the back cover reads: "For Complete Catalog Write To: Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23"

All in all a nice copy of a very hard to come by record.
