JOHNNY GRIFFIN A BLOWING SESSION DG LP BLUE NOTE 1559
From 1957 comes this original mono deep groove pressing of Johnny Griffin's LP A Blowing Session (A.K.A. Johnny Griffin Vol. 2) (Blue Note BLP 1559).
The cover, which has Blue Note's 47 West 63rd St. address at the bottom of its back, is very good plus due to some minor ring wear and scratching, half-inch seam splits in its two right-hand corners, and a few small tears in its lamination along its mouth. The LP itself (also with the 47 West 63rd address on its label) has RVG and the ear etched in its dead wax and is excellent.
To protect your investment, this LP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
