Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This very 1st Johnny Cash LP on the original, SUN Label is entitled "Johnny Cash With His Hot And Blue Guitar" from 1956. The album features 12 great early songs of his on the original SUN Label-- including his hit songs, "Folsom Prison Blues" and "The Rock Island Line" -- and it's just one of several Johnny Cash LPs -- on both Sun and Columbia labels -- that I intend to list in the coming days (all of which are in super nice condition). In my opinion, the condition of this jacket and the vinyl are both super good and close to perfect, but please view the pics below, read about the conditions, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, SUN Label, 1220---in mono (of course)---and, in my opinion, it is in great shape---I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me very little play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl supports this as it is also extremely shiny, clean and nice with no real mentionable flaws either---perhaps just a couple super light surface/paper lines, but I do mean super light!. In fact, to me it appears to be almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased!! JACKET INFO: This jacket is also in great condition with no flaws in need of mentioning either---this does look nearly perfect. Personally, I think this entire collectible piece looks really good, so please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You really don't see these original Johnny Cash on Sun Label LPs out there much anymore, and espiecally not in this kind of great condition, so please have at it--as well as others I have posted this week -- or will be posting soon. I will continue to list many other LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists, even some rare C&W as I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
