I found this beauty this summer but waited until the movie came out to put it up for auction. It is a 78RPM record of Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two . It was recorded in Memphis Tennessee at the world famous Sun Studios on April 2nd, 1956. One side is 'I Walk the Line' backed by 'Get Rythm'. It is a 10 inch 78rpm record. Sun Records lists this as the master take. One advantage of the 78 vs. the 45 single is that you get the full Sun Record label, complete with chicken! If my turntable played 78s, I would not be selling this. I do not know what this sounds like but there are no great scratches in it. It is a piece of music history and would make a great gift for that Johnny Cash fan in your life! Please email with any questions, and, as always, thank you for your time.
