Trevor Watts, John Stevens, with a workshop group comprising unidentified young musicians "who had just joined in and who were interested" and audience members "who weren’t playing but just wanted to take part... singing and playing gongs". Recorded live by Bob Brown at the Crypt, Ladbroke Grove, London, May 20th, 1970.

Part 2: Sustained Piece features Trevor Watts, John Stevens and unidentified personnel including “what was then the nucleus of the large S.M.E." recorded live by Bob Brown at an open–air concert in Euston Square, London. Although the album sleeve cites the date 9 May 1970 for this piece, the production master box indicates May 23rd, 1970.
