Description
JOHN MARTYN
The Tumbler ( Island ILPS 9091)
Here’s a lovely original UK copy of Martyn’s classic second LP, as issued on Island’s ‘black ball’ label in September 1968. Produced by Al Stewart, it features flute back-up from Harold McNair and rhythm guitar from Nick Drake’s old chum Paul Wheeler.
SLEEVE CONDITION
The fully laminated sleeve is in VG+ condition, with some minor wear but no splits, tears, ringwear or writing. For lamination fetishists, I have never seen another fully-laminated copy.
VINYL CONDITION
The glossy disc is in peachy EX shape and plays beautifully. You couldn’t hope for a better copy. The only problem is writing on one of the labels – see picture.
The above description is honest and accurate. If you have questions or reservations, please communicate them during the auction, not after winning. Please note that this is GUARANTEED not to be a bootleg or counterfeit. It is in every respect ORIGINAL.
