Here I have a copy of
John Martyn
'Solid Air'
on very rare original UK variant Island label pressing LP in picture sleeve with inner picture sleeve & paper labels
released on Island Records ILPS9226 originally released in 1973
stamped matrices are ILPS 9226 A -2U 17 & ILPS9226 B-3U 19
The condition of the record is excellent - ( has a couple of light hairlines but plays through fine ).
The outer sleeve has very mild ringwear / creasing on edges.
The inner sleeve has mild ringwear & small scuff on left hand edge .
The labels are clean with a couple of very light spindle marks.
A lovely example of this uncommon UK label variation !
