Description
This is a great copy of John Lennon's first "Plastic Ono Band". This is essential music, Lennon, while putting out lots of timeless music after the Beatles, never made an album so compelling, so raw. Recorded during his scream therapy years, this very autobiographical album, opening with "Mother" and ending with "My Mummy's Dead", is compelling from beginning to end. While the "Imagine" album was excellent as well, it didn't quite match the brilliance of this. The copy for sale here is recorded with Bell Sound and is Apple SW-13372Z Bell Sound sf. Great cover, no splits, a good spine, it does have some minor rough spots on the edges, and on the front, some spotting on the front that looks like it could be cleaned off, but I'll let you. The vinyl has several very light marks, but I am listening to it now and it sounds great, very little background sound. Comes wrapped in original lyric sleeve in VG shape.
