Description
This is a very rare John Lennon 'collector's' album. I bought this vintage vinyl pressing of PLOP PLOP...FIZZ FIZZ via mail order back in the day. This is a Hoffman Avenue Records / Seanmark (HAR 170) transparent blue splatter vinyl pressing.
I am the original owner and have played it maybe three times (once to grade it the other day). This is a hard-to-find ORIGINAL boot LP from the 1970's.
I have stored it in a plastic sleeve since I got it. Buying albums like this back in the day was a tricky thing and they were rarely sealed. Check the many photos.
I use GOLDMINE grading standards and have PLAYED the records to grade them:
DISC - MINT- Looks and plays excellently! I heard one louder tic in the crowd noise part before "Come Together." Again, I graded this by playing it. REALLY nice and beautiful.
COVER - VERY GOOD+/NEAR MINT- Plain white cover with photo-offset printed B&W wraparound title sheet. It was hard to get any boot LP's through the mail back in the 70's, etc. with NO mail damage. Even if I ordered multiple ones at the same time. And there was no returning unless the record was broken in transit or something was horribly wrong. This one was was one of the better arrivals condition-wise

LP's are removed from their outer sleeve to help protect against edgewear and sent in plastic protective sleeve.
