JOHN LENNON/ PLASTIC ONO BAND    IMAGINE Apple 71 -1U-1U UK 1st pr + Poster + Inner EX     
Apple PAS10004 UK 1st press with sleeve which has slightly pinched ends. Has original large poster which is unused & printed inner sleeve. Fully laminated SLEEVE has a couple of laminate creases running down the spine, but generally nr EX condition. POSTER is unused & EX condition.
 INNER SLEEVE is nr EX condition, LABELS are nr EX condition with a few spindle marks, mainly Side 2,
 VINYL is very very nr EX to EX condition. Please note although vinyl is generally visually nr EX condition there is a small pressing lump on the end of Imagine that gives about 5 or 6 clicks which is a real shame, otherwise plays great. Item 546

For accurate play grading (like all my records)

This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable 

fitted with a Goldring stylus,


Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers 

that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.

With a Quad Amp set-up.

 

 For accurate visual grade (like all my records)

This record has been professionally cleaned using an 

Okki Nokki cleaning machine.


First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and 

finished off with L?art du son / purified water mix.


The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have

 from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.


The l?art du son mix seems to smooth out any 

brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
