On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by John Lennon called "Imagine" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Apple label!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING (WITH ALL THE MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS DETAILS GIVEN BELOW)!!!!
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS VERY SHORT LIVED ULTRA RARE 1971 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - AND ALL LATER PRESSINGS. THIS 'EARLIEST' 1971 1ST PRESSING DIDNT LAST LONG AT ALL - AND VIRTUALLY EVERY COPY OF THIS LP THAT TURNS UP IS A LATER PRESSING. HOWEVER THIS IS THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING - WITH A MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS COVER (& RECORD)!!!! FIRSTLY THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER IS VERY DIFFERENT TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER HAS A VERY DISTINCTIVE SPINE & COVER CONTRUCTION!!!! THE SPINE ON THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING HAS 'PLEATED ENDS' TO EITHER END (SEE PICTURE) - WHEREAS ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAVE STRAIGHT SPINES!!!! NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER IS MADE DIFFERENTLY TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER IS 'FOLDED OVER' FROM 'FRONT TO BACK' - WHERE THE COVER FRONT IS FOLDED UNDER THE COVER BACK ON THE TOP/BOTTOM EDGES!!!! ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THIS IS COMPLETELY REVERSED - WITH THE COVER BACK BEING FOLDED UNDER THE COVER FRONT!!!! THE RECORD IS ALSO THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS RECORD - WITH 1U/1U MATRIX ENDINGS AND 'PECKO' & 'PORKY' ETCHED IN THE RUN ON GROOVES!!!! THE VINYL IS ALSO FAR FAR HEAVIER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! THIS LP ALSO COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'FULL SIZE' POSTER, AND ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC/PICTURE' INNER SLEEVE (LATER PRESSINGS DONT HAVE THIS)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS APPLE LABEL, MEGA THICK QUALITY VINYL, 1U/1U 1ST PRESS MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC/PICTURE' INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'FULL SIZE' POSTER, 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC/PICTURE' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED COVER (WITH 'PLEATED' ENDS TO THE SPINE)!!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Apple 1st Pressing from 1971, and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The Cat. No is PAS 10004 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Apple label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality John Lennon at his best!!!! Any fan of John Lennon, The Beatles, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 MEGA light wispy scufflines, only 1 absolutely TINY and NON sounding surface trace, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Lyric/Picture' sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 1st Press 'Full Size' Poster is in AWESOME condition and it is doubtful if it has EVER left the cover!!!! The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED 'Pleated' Spine 'Earliest' 1st Press Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, only a VERY few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
