On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by John Lennon called 'Imagine' and is a 1971 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Custom' Apple label!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND MASSIVELY RARE AS A GENIUNE 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING!!!!  LATER PRESSINGS OCCASSIONALLY TURN UP - BUT FINDING A GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) IS INCREDIBLY RARE INDEED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THIS GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - AND ALL LATER PRESSINGS.  FIRSTLY THE RECORD HAS 1U/1U MATRIX ENDINGS (LATER ONES DONT) AND IS PRESSED ON VERY THICK QUALITY VINYL (LATER ONES ARE MUCH THINNER)!!!!  SECONDLY THIS LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'LYRIC' INNER SLEEVE, FULL SIZE POSTER, AND POSTCARD INSERT (LATER ONES DONT HAVE THE INNER SLEEVE)!!!!  AND LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE COVER HAS 'PLEATED' ENDS TO THE SPINE (LATER ONES DONT - THEY HAVE STRAIGHT SPINES)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  HOWEVER THIS ONE IS EVEN RARER STILL AS IT HAS A MEGA RARE MISPRESSED SIDE 1 LABEL AND IS CLEARLY UNIQUE!!!!  IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE 1 LABEL - YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE AT THE MANUFACTURING STAGE THAT THERE WERE 3 ATTEMPTS TO PRESS THE SIDE 1 LABEL AND 3 LABELS WERE PRESSED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER AND SLIGHTLY TO ONE SIDE!!!!  CLEARLY THIS MEGA RARE MISPRESSED LABEL SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE FACTORY - BUT IN THIS CASE IT CLEARLY SLIPPED PAST EMIs STRICT QUALITY CONTROL!!!!  AS A RESULT THIS LP HAS TO BE UNIQUE AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE WITH THIS LABEL ERROR!!!!  THIS IS THE 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CUSTOM' APPLE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC' INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS FULL SIZE POSTER, 1ST PRESS POSTCARD, AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'PLEATED SPINE' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in STUNNING condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 865-1U & YEX 866-1U and (as with all 1st Pressings) the words 'Pecko' & 'Porky' are etched in the run off grooves!!!! The Cat. No is PAS 10004 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Apple label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality John Lennon at his best!!!! Any fan of John Lennon, The Beatles, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  Of course the Side 1 is completely mispressed - but it is EXACTLY as it left the factory!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!! The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 absolutely TINY and NON sounding hairline (only visible under the most EXTREME light), NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must VERY strictly grade Very Good++++ if not better - though it is important to note that most would grade FAR higher - and basically this record is virtually PERFECT apart from 1 TINY and NON sounding hairline that is only visible under the BRIGHTEST of lights!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Lyric' inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition, 100% UNSPLIT and is virtually PERFECT apart from 1 TINY brown 'age' spot!!!!  THE MEGA RARE 'FULL SIZE' POSTER & POSTCARD INSERT ARE IN AWESOME CONDITION AND CLEARLY HAVENT EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The 1st Press 'Pleated Spine' FULLY Laminated Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), STUNNING shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in AWESOME condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A 100% COMPLETE GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING, AND RARER STILL WITH THIS ULTRA RARE LABEL ERROR - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
