John Lennon - 'Imagine / Working Class Hero'. R 6009

John Lennon 1975 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'Imagine / Working Class Hero' 7" single. Released on the 24th October 1975, and offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+ condition.

These initial pre-release demo pressings would have usually been given out to important reviewers or radio stations. Released on the Apple label both sides state DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE and the release date of 24.10.75. The vinyl is housed within the original Apple picture sleeve. A truly wonderful demo example of one of the greatest songs ever written.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21775-1 1 G

Side 2. 7YCE 21776-1 2 A

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. BUT the a-side has a small gold sticker. This would be very easy to remove should you desire to.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Small pen mark on front and 'John Lennon - Imagine' written on back opening edge (see pictures).
