Here's a copy of JOHN LEE SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON'S  LP recorded in the 30's and 40's, and released later here on ARHOOLIE BLUES CLASSICS.  JOHN LEE SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON was the most influential blues harmonica player in the 30's and 40's.  His influence is still felt today, and whenever you hear a harmonica playing lead, you can thank the original John Lee Sonny Boy.  He cut over 120 sides on 78, and was a huge part of creating what would be called the Chicago Blues sound as other harmonica players like; LITTLE WATER, BIG WALTER HORTON, JAMNES COTTON, JR. WELLS, and SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON 2 would follow in John Lee's footsteps.  Levon Helm tells the story of going to a Sonny Boy concert in Arkansas when he was young.
An early case of stolen identity---  There was another Sonny Boy Williamson, but that was not his given name.  John Lee was aware of him, but the other Sonny Boy wasn't making records, and no legal conclusion happened.  Ironically the other Sonny Boy was older than John Lee.  It did happen with other blues artists that others tried to take the same name to get ahead.  So on June 1 1948 John Lee was murdered, leaving Sonny Boy 2 as the only living one with the namesake.  Sonny Boy 2 would go on to be one of the most important blues artists, and being sought after by Britt invasion bands like The Animals, and Yardbirds.  His first recording was with Elmore James on Dust myBroom, so say no more... 
But all that, along with time has shaded the light of John Lee Sonny Boy.  
The LP is a solid VG+ all around.  The recordings were made from original 78's and they sound as such.  Classic blues.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.M -    = (MINT MINUS)  MINT- is not MINT but is very close to it, near new, there might be a blemish or two, but overall record and jacket are like new or very close to new.EX     = (EXCELLENT)  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VG    = (VERY GOOD)  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.G      = (GOOD)  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.F       = (FAIR)  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
